Baroness Janet Cohen is a published novelist, a Labour peer and Chancellor of BPP University. She graduated from Newham College, Cambridge with a degree in Law. She served as a BBC Governor between the years 1994 and 1999.

“I am supporting the National Commission on Muslim Women because I believe it is vital for us all to hear, in their own words, from the many Muslim women who are making their homes in the United Kingdom.   We need to open up channels of communication and this is what the Commission intends to do.”
