Humera Khan is a freelance consultant and researcher, she also co-founded the An-Nisa Society in 1985 which is an organisation managed by women. It serves to work for the welfare of Muslim families in Britain. She has written for various publications including Q-News, The Guardian and The Independent. Working with families, providing support and counselling on a broad range of issues are just some of the things that are included in Humera’s job. Within that, she developed the first accredited Islamic Counselling Course.
