Saleha Islam is the first woman to manage an established British Islamic centre, as well as being the Regional Director in London for the charity Penny Appeal. With over 25 years of experience working in social services and developing and delivering services to vulnerable children and families across the UK, she has a wide understanding of how minorities can find a place in society and of how society treats them.
