Muneera Rashida and Sukina Abdul Noor were born and raised in Bristol to Jamaican parents and are the first Muslim hip hop duo to grace Britain. Having met in college and discovering their shared love of music, the pair remain London based and have appeared in a documentary called ‘Hip Hop Hijabi’s’ which aired on Al-Jazeera.

Their work infuses reggae, jazz, world music and spoken-word poetry into their sound which works to highlight the multitude of ethnicities and nationalities they represent.
