Dilara is the Founder and President of the British Bangladesh Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs (BBCWE). She is also a mentor and proactively coaches young girls and women in areas of professional development, education and new business start-ups. Her professional career spans 13 years in senior management in the National Health Service (NHS) heading several services, and ensuring service improvement and implementing changes to improve health outcomes within inner cities and nationally.

A proud mother of three beautiful children, she has managed to balance being a parent and establishing a noteworthy career. She has been recognised as one of the 100 most powerful and influential British Bangladeshi people in 2013 as well as the British Muslim Women of the Year 2016.

Having been a student of communications, Dilara believes that mass media is the key to improving attitudes, mindset and social impact.
