The National Commission on Muslim Women advocates equal participation by:

• Encouraging open dialogue for women to address the public discourses on issues that impact them as British Muslims.
• Documenting and highlighting the significance of women’s contribution to British society – thereby creating opportunity to educate and encourage a future generation of women leaders.
• When opportunity arises, influencing social and public policies relating to education and employment by improving access, equal opportunities and representation in public offices and the private sector.
